MANHATTAN (CN) - The former manager of Columbia University's Pediatric Neurosciences Department, and his wife, defrauded the university of $221,500, federal prosecutors say. John Bzdil III and Heather Brooke Rinehart allegedly took $112,500 for spinal muscular atrophy studies that were never done, and took the rest for personal items and their wedding.
