TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Supreme Court approved a stipulation entered into by Palm Beach County Judge Marni Bryson and the state’s Judicial Qualifications Commission under which the judge will be publicly reprimanded, suspended without pay for 10 days and pay a $37,500 fine for excessive absences.
The court said some of Bryson’s absences would have been approved had she informed court management, and noted that Bryson “voluntarily handled felony cases for circuit court judges, volunteered for more night and weekend duty than required, and she served as an administrative judge for her county court.”
