Judge Takes Senior Status

U.S. Circuit Judge N. Randy Smith, based in Pocatello, Idaho, will take senior status when he turns 69 on Aug. 11, 2018, after 11 years on the appeals court and 32 years as a judge, the Ninth Circuit announced Thursday.
