CHICAGO (CN) - International Truck and Engine Corp. demands "hundreds of millions of dollars" from Ford Motor Co. ITEC says it spent years of work and millions of dollars developing the "next generation" Lion V8 diesel engine because Ford promised to buy them from ITEC.
"Rather than honor its promises and contracts, Ford intends to use the International design and manufacture diesel engines itself without compensation to International," ITEC claims in Cook County Court.
