ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (CN) - A teenager has filed harassment charges against his mother, accusing her of hacking into his Facebook account and posting slanderous entries about him. Denise New's 16-year-old son also sought a no-contact order against his mother, a local television station reported.
New has been charged with harassment, KATV in Little Rock, Ark., reported. She tells the station that she has the right to watch her son's account, especially after reading things on his page "about how he had gone to Hot Springs one night and was driving 95 mph home because he was upset with a girl."
The boy lives with his grandmother, who has custodial rights.
Prosecutors declined to comment on the case.
