Insurer Holds Money In Suspicious Death

MINNEAPOLIS (CN) - MetLife sued Anthony Warmka and Anna Montemayor Rios, the widow of Warmka's former partner, Cesar Rios, who was killed in Monterey, Mexico, on June 12. Warmka owned the policy and demands to be paid, but MetLife says Mexican police haven't ruled him out as a suspect in Rios' killing. MetLife says maybe the widow should get the money; it will pay the policy benefits to the court. See the federal complaint.
