Three drugmakers and Walmart distributed and sold irbesartan, a medicine for high blood pressure, contaminated with carcinogenic N-nitrosodiethylamine, consumers claim in a federal class action.

TAMPA, Fla. —  Indian drugmaker Aurobindo Pharma, U.S. drugmakers Sciegen Pharmaceuticals and Westminster Pharmaceuticals, and retailer Walmart distributed and sold irbesartan, a medicine for high blood pressure, contaminated with carcinogenic N-nitrosodiethylamine, consumers claim in a federal class action.
