BOISE, Idaho — The Supreme Court of Idaho declined to block a trio of state laws limiting women’s ability to seek an abortion, finding the state constitution does not provide an explicit right to abortion and that there is no implicit right to the procedure. Though the laws might not be “wise policy,” they are rationally related to Idaho’s “legitimate interest in … protecting the health and safety of the mother.”
