LOS ANGELES (CN) – A Hollywood Hills homeowner claims Beyonce Knowles and her production company “invaded his neighborhood and his property to do still photography and a video” for her song, “Why Don’t You Love Me.” Philip Markowitz sued the singer for nuisance and trespass in Superior Court.
Markowitz claims Beyonce’s crews “blocked his driveway and cluttered the street” on March 26, to shoot the video in the house across the street from him. Among other things, he says he had to drive around his neighborhood a couple times before the film crew moved their equipment to clear the path.
Markowitz claims his “peace and privacy” were invaded seven times that day, from just after 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. And he claims the crew dumped garbage on his lawn.
He seeks punitive damages. He is represented by Gary Kurtz.
