Historic Sites Fight U.S. Army & Utilities

LOUISVILLE (CN) - The U.S. Department of the Army, Louisville Gas & Electric Co. and Kentucky Utilities Co. will violate the National Historic Preservation Act if they build their planned 42-mile electrical transmission line, several groups claim in Federal Court, including the owners of a nature preserve and of several structures on the National Register of Historic Places.
