Gulf drilling

BALTIMORE — A federal court in Maryland granted four environmental nonprofits’ motion to lift the stay, as well as their motion to admit more evidence, in their lawsuit against environmental agencies and petroleum companies over the impact of oil and gas drilling on endangered species in the Gulf of Mexico. The new evidence is permitted to clarify technical information.
