WASHINGTON (CN) — The D.C. Circuit vacated an FCC rule requiring radio broadcasters to check two federal sources to verify the identity of political ads’ sponsors, a regulation issued to tamp down on Chinese and Russian interference in U.S. political campaigns. The FCC lacks the authority to impose the requirement.
