German Automakers

SAN FRANCISCO – A pair of antitrust class actions filed Friday in federal court accuse big German automakers – BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Daimler – of colluding on technology development since the 1990s, allowing them to charge premium prices without the cost of independent innovation.
