FTC Slams Vegas Telemarketer

LAS VEGAS (CN) - City West Advantage and its president James Slemboski are abusive telemarketers who defraud consumers by offering them a "free" "$1,000 shopping spree," then steal $149 from the consumers' bank accounts, and if the victims refuse the offer, repeatedly call them back and subject them to "abusive or obscene language" until they submit to the sales pitch, the Federal Trade Commission claims in Federal Court.
