WASHINGTON (CN) - The Commerce Department's annual survey for direct investment abroad, which obtains financial and operating data for overall operations of U.S. parent companies and their foreign affiliates, will apply to banks as of Jan. 16.
Thedepartment's Economic Analysis Bureau willrequire that U.S. parent companies that are banks, foreign affiliates of bank parents, and bank foreign affiliates of nonbank parents fill out the sample international services survey, BE-11.
