OKLAHOMA CITY (CN) - City of Velma Police Chief Randy Whipple illegally suspended, publicly humiliated and fired a police officer for "sexual misconduct" because she spent the night with a man who is not her husband, though Whipple sleeps with a woman who is not his wife, the officer says. When she complained, she says, "Whipple responded, 'That's different because I am a man.'" She also sues Velma Mayor Winston Dumas for discrimination, harassment and wrongful firing, in Federal Court.
