Farting Tied to Fatal Stabbing

HARTFORD (CN) - A 21-year-old man pleaded not guilty to stabbing a man to death and wounding three others because they made fun of his farting. Marc Higgins, 21, is being held on $2 million bond.

Higgins, of Bristol, left the party and returned with three knives and then lashed out, the Hartford Courant and AP reported, citing "court documents."

Higgins is charged with murder, assault and carrying a dangerous weapon. He appeared in court Tuesday and his next court date is in April.

Matthew Walton, 21, died.

The Courant, citing the court documents, reported that Higgins told police that he was angry and wanted to show people that they could not trifle with him.
