Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor-turned-Trump lawyer who sought to overturn the 2020 election, replied to the State Bar of Texas’ disciplinary action against her. She says the First Amendment protects her from claims that she filed frivolous lawsuits, and refers to the bar’s commission for lawyer discipline as “13 disgruntled politically motivated Democrats.”
