SAN DIEGO - Former San Diego Charger Benjamin Coleman pleaded guilty Thursday to taking $290,000 from banks and credit cards companies using false information, identity theft, and tax charges. Coleman, 36, who submitted false loan applications and spent the money on himself, will be sentenced on the 10 federal counts on Feb. 29, prosecutors said.
