EPA Wants Comment|on Heavy-Duty Vehicles

WASHINGTON (CN) - Public hearings will be held on greenhouse gas emissions standards and fuel efficiency standards for medium- and heavy-duty engines and vehicles, Nov. 15 and 18.

A document on the emission standards will be published in the Federal Register in the near future by the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agencies holding the hearings. The agencies also will accept comment on the NHTSA's Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
