EPA Is 7 Years Late On Air Standards

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is more than 7 years late in promulgating regulations under the Clean Air Act, the Sierra Club says in Federal Court. The EPA was ordered in 1990 to promulgate by November 2000 "regulations establishing emission standards for categories and subcategories of sources initially listed for regulation," but hasn't got around to it, the Sierra Club says.
