The William Morris Agency claims Charlie Matthau and The Matthau Co. owe it commissions for its work for the late Walter Matthau, in Los Angeles Superior Court, West District.

Janet Harrison and Moontide Pictures demand $5 million from Gothambeach Entertainment and Griot Entertainment, which allegedly claimed, falsely, to own screen rights to Leslie Banks' book, "The Minion." Also sued in New York County Court are Nanette Reed, Joan Fields, and Sherwood Herndon.

Jeffrey Johnson aka Fanatik J claims CMH Records dba OCD International and Vitamin Records violated copyright on his tune, "The Return of Doctor Octagon," on an eponymous CD by Kool Keith, in San Francisco Federal Court.
