Vincent Romandia claims The Valspar Corp. and plant manager Jeremy Pond wrongfully fired him for refusing to reveal the name of a co-worker involved in union activities, in Sacramento Superior Court.

Former vice president Joshua Rogers claims Ameriprise Financial Services fired him illegally in retaliation for his objections to its illegal sales practices, and demands that he forge and falsify financial records in SEC filings, in Cook County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Best Buy, in Philadelphia state court; Cardinal Health, in San Diego Superior Court; Golden State Supply, in Los Angeles Superior Court; AJ Friendship Inc. dba Mrs. Winners, in Macon, Ga., Federal Court; Caribbean Security Service, in Miami Federal Court; Precision Aluminum Products, and Superior Meat Co., in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court; and Candidates on Demand Group, and Porcelain Enterprises, in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
