Ready Mix (USA) is retaliating against plaintiffs in a class-action overtime lawsuit by cutting their hours, drivers claim in a second class-action claim, in Birmingham, Ala., Federal Court.

Kroger and Quik Stop Markets fired a woman in retaliation for complaining about sexual harassment from her defendant supervisor, Rudy Sanchez, who was dumb enough to send her vile, sexual text messages, she claims in Solano County Court, Calif.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: U.S. Steel Corp., in Pittsburgh Federal Court; Sorrells Brothers Packing Co., Auto Inventory Management, and Broadband Express, in Tampa Federal Court; Pool Service America, and Practical Management Inc., in Miami Federal Court; Esser Glass Inc., in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court; Eagle Carports, in Lufkin, Texas, Federal Court; Wayne Farms, in Shreveport Federal Court; Legacy Health System, in Multnomah County Court, Ore.; Ampco System Parkin, in Los Angeles Superior Court; and Charming Shoppes of Delaware, in San Francisco Federal Court.
