Tripack works employees at its Benicia plant 12 hours a day without overtime, without legally required breaks, and without itemizing their pay rate or deductions, a class action on behalf of 40 to 50 workers claims in Solano County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: California Pizza Kitchen, and Dandee Transportation, in Los Angeles Federal Court; the City of Oakland, on behalf of police officers, in San Francisco Federal Court; Home Mortgage Desk Corp., in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Enternet and Fastechnology Group, in a single complaint in Chicago Federal Court; Wachovia Corp., in Birmingham, Ala., Federal Court; TRS Staffing Solutions, on behalf of workers at the BP refinery in Texas City, in Houston Federal Court; C&M Road Builders, and Greenleaf Auto Recyclers, in Tampa Federal Court; Allied Barton Security Services, Suncore Industries, and Security Roofing Systems, in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court; and Hollywood Media Corp., in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
