A daycare worker and her husband lost their jobs after she complained about child abuse, saying staff members at West County Day School had dropped a newborn, sprayed Lysol in a baby's face, called the children ugly and refused to change diapers, the former worker claims in St. Louis County Court. She also says the children were cared for by at least one drunk caregiver.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Domino's Pizza in Minneapolis Federal Court; DHL Express, DHL Global Customer Solutions, DHL Information Services, DHL Solutions and All Power Inc. in Alameda County Court; Wal-Mart Stores and Sam's West in Las Vegas Federal Court; Comcast Cable Communications Management, Conn-X, Protocom Services and Futuretek in Baltimore Federal Court; Wm. Bolthouse Farms in Kern County Court; and Blue Lagoon Family Restaurant & Lounge and Tri-State Paving in Central Islip Federal Court.
