Coast to Coast Resources lured a man to Houston from Vietnam with false promises, put him in indentured servitude and charged him for it, Phuong The Nguyen claims in Harris County Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Ajilon Communications, and Borg Produce Sales, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Long's Drug Stores California, in Santa Clara County Court; Quicktrip Corp., in St. Louis Federal Court; The Town of Merrillville, Ind., in Hammond Federal Court; and CB Richard Ellis Inc., in Milwaukee Federal Court.
