A black woman says she was showered with insulting racial epithets while she worked for the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, in Baton Rouge Federal Court.

CVS Pharmacy faces another class action overtime complaint, this time in Houston Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Best Buy, Beverly Books Inc., and P&C Poultry Distributors, in Los Angeles Superior Court; ExxonMobil, in Orange County Court, Calif.; United Airline, in Oahu Circuit Court, Honolulu; Prospect Capital Corp. and The Healing Staff, in Gulfport, Miss., Federal Court; the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, and Windswept Environmental Group, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Smithfield Packing Co., in Greenville, N.C., Federal Court; Liberty Travel, in Newark Federal Court; Tex-American Recycling, in Fort Worth Federal Court; and Publishers Circulation Fulfillment, in Pittsburgh Federal Court.
