Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: The Vons Cos., and American Apparel, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Union Bank, in Orange County Court, Calif.; America’s Collectibles Network dba Jewelry Television, in Knoxville Federal Court; Amtec, in Manhattan Federal Court; NJK Contractors, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Waste Management of Arkansas, in Pine Bluff Federal Court.
