CHICAGO (CN) - NBA star Eddy Curry claims his former business manager refused to hand over financial statements and records, despite numerous requests.
Lamont Carter was his manager and took care of his business affairs from 2005 to 2008, Curry says in his complaint in Cook County Court.
Curry claims that since they ended their business relationship, Carter has refused his request for records regarding "money received by him and paid out by him" from Curry's accounts.
Curry wants an accounting and disclosure of books and records.
Curry, a former Chicago Bulls center now with the New York Knicks, recently made local headlines over foreclosure proceedings on his Burr Ridge home.
He is represented by Kelly Saindon with Belongia & Shapiro.
