(CN) - Dominick Dunne, the novelist and Vanity Fair writer who covered the criminal trials of O.J. Simpson, William Kennedy Smith and the Menendez brothers, died at home Wednesday in New York. He was 83.
The Cambridge History of Law in America dubbed him, "one of the nation's premier popular chroniclers of notorious criminal trials and lawsuits involving celebrities."
