Defense Contractors Must|Disclose Executive Comp

WASHINGTON (CN) – Companies seeking contracts with the Defense Department must report their executive compensation when bidding on contracts expected to be $25,000 or greater.
The new rule, adopted by the department and several related executive agencies, implements the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
The information then will be posted on a Web site maintained by the Office of Management and Budget, which the act requires to provide full disclosure of all federal contract award information.
Classified contracts and contracts with individuals would remain exempt under this rule.
