Customs Is Illegally Secretive, Man Says

AUSTIN (CN) - Adam Abou-Hamdan has sued U.S. Customs and Border Protection in a federal FOIA complaint. Hamdan claims Customs wrongfully refuses to supply him import records of a business in which he was a 49 percent partner, which he has sued for money owed. He claims Customs acknowledges there is no legitimate exemption to FOIA but refuses to give him the records anyway. See complaint.
