Jason Skillern, an employee of the New York Board of Education, sent a custodian a text message denying him a transfer because "[n]o one wants a bitchy gay guy as there (sic) head man," Shaun Ruffins claims in Essex County Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Staples and Lakeview Kenilworth in Newark Federal Court; Mastec Inc. in Palm Beach County Court; Automobile Club of Southern California in Orange County Superior Court; Roselli Moving and Storage Corp. in New York County Supreme Court; Stangenes Industries in Santa Clara County Court; and FedEx in Colorado Federal Court.
