Covid fraud, staged suicide

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Massachusetts man who became the first person in the nation to be charged with fraudulently seeking $544,000 in federal pandemic relief money — and faking his suicide shortly after his arrest — will spend 56 months in federal prison for his crimes.
