Connecticut hospital will face antitrust claims

HARTFORD, Conn. — A federal judge in Connecticut allowed physicians to continue bringing their antitrust claims against a nonprofit hospital that they have accused of threatening independent practices with the loss of referrals, which suffices to establish a theory of coercion and intimidation that is squeezing competitors out of the market.
