Confederate memorabilia

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — An appeals court in Tennessee ruled a defendant convicted of aggravated assault and other charges is entitled to a new trial because the state failed to prove he wasn’t prejudiced by the jury’s exposure to Confederate memorabilia in a Giles County Courthouse room used for deliberations.
