NASHVILLE (CN) - Country-western star Clint Black accuses his business manager and accountant of malpractice. Black says the manager advised him to leave more than $500,000 in royalties in Equity Records, and to sign personal guaranties worth more than $1 million to the company though the manager knew it was not performing well.
Black sued Charles Sussmanand his firm Sussman & Associates PC also dba Gudvi, Sussman & Oppenheim, and GSO Business Management. He is represented in Davidson County Chancery Court by Samuel Lipshie with Boult, Cummings.
