Church Accused Of Defrauding Homeowners

VALLEJO, CALIF. (CN) - The House of Redemption, a religious corporation, defrauded eight homeowners of their houses in a foreclosure-rescue scam, with help from co-defendants Capital Access LLC, Zalathiel Aguila, Ramon Barrientos and Omar Anabo, the homeowners say. The defendants - all of Solano County, except the "church," which is based in Nevada - sucked money from the transactions, and the plaintiffs say they all stand to lose their houses anyway.
