CARES Act Funds

A federal court in Washington ruled that the Treasury Department cannot distribute more than $9.6 million in CARES Act funds until the Miccosukee Tribe and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation’s claims relating to the funds are resolved. The court denied the plaintiffs’ request for immediate interim payments.

WASHINGTON — A federal court in Washington ruled that the Treasury Department cannot distribute more than $9.6 million in CARES Act funds until the Miccosukee Tribe and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation’s claims relating to the funds are resolved. The court denied the plaintiffs’ request for immediate interim payments.
