Campaign finance

HARRISBURG, Pa. — An appeals court in Pennsylvania ruled against former Pittsburgh City Councilwoman Darlene Harris in her suit challenging a city campaign finance ordinance that requires candidates to report on campaign contributions on the first business day of the three months prior to Election Day. The Commonwealth Court also upheld a $4,150 fine for her violations of the ordinance.
