REAL ESTATE, CONSTITUTION - A California appeals court held that a bond requirement under the Home Equity Sales Contract Act is void for vagueness under the due process clause of the Constitution. The ruling allows the plaintiff homeowner to invalidate the deed to a home that had been placed under foreclosure. See ruling.
