BofA Cheats On Late Fees, Class Claims

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (CN) - Bank of America charges credit card-holders bogus late fees if they pay the minimum charge on the date it is due, a class action claims in Federal Court. One named plaintiff says BofA charged him $39 even though he paid in person at the bank; another plaintiff says the bank refused to process his electronic payment on the due date.
