Realty Mortgage Corp. filed for bankruptcy in Jackson, Miss., listing more than $10 million in debts.

Philadelphia Newspapers, publisher of the Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News, filed for bankruptcy, listing more than $100 million in debts. Also filing were Broad Street Video, Philadelphia Media, PMH Acquisition, Philadelphia Direct, Broad Street Publishing, and Philly Online.

The Journal Register Co., publisher of the New Haven Register and others, filed for bankruptcy in Manhattan, listing more than $500 million in debts.

Robert Kushner and Valerie Kushner filed for bankruptcy in San Jose, listing more than $10 million in debts.
