I am a Reporter/Editor for Courthouse News, starting with the company in 2006. I am the reporter for Humboldt and Sierra Counties, and have been in charge of: The CNS website's rural news stories for far Northern California, the Northern California Regional Report and the CNS reporters and researchers in this area; Kaiser Permanente stories; and Federal Regulations and presidential actions stories for both terms of the Obama Administration. A visually impaired attorney taught me legal research as I worked for him during my last three years of pre-law at the University of California. My Juris Doctorate is from the University of San Diego School of Law, where I was dubbed, "The Queen of Torts" and "The voice of reason." I copy edit the CNS website.
