The State of Kansas fired the only black employee in Johnson County Court Services to retaliate for her complaint to the EEOC that she was subjected to racist acts and comments at work, "including the tying of a cord, like a noose, around a picture of (her) grandchild and grandniece," Yolanda Kerr claims in Kansas City Federal Court.
