American GDP Gains, Japan & EU Lose Ground

American GDP is up while Japanese and European have lost ground. During the second quarter of 2008, American GDP grew by .8%, while Japanese GDP fell .6% and the GDP of the European Union dropped .1%, compared to the previous quarter. Of all the countries surveyed, Poland saw the biggest jump with a 1.5% increase in its GDP, while Japan suffered the hardest fall.
