Alleged Shooter Sued for Vegas Drive-by

LAS VEGAS (CN) - The son of a taxi driver who was killed in a crash after a drive-by shooting into a Maserati on the Las Vegas Strip has sued the alleged gunman.

Michael A. Boldon seeks at least $20,000 in damages from Ammar Harris on behalf of his father, cab driver Michael Boldon. Boldon sued Harris in Clark County Court.

Harris was arrested on Feb. 28 in Southern California, a week after the Feb. 21 shooting.

He was the focus of a multi-state manhunt after he allegedly shot from his Range Rover into a Maserati, killing the driver, Kenneth Wayne Cherry Jr.

The Maserati crashed into a taxi that exploded, killing Bolden, 62, and his passenger, Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, 48.

Boldon's son seeks at least $20,000 for negligence.
