Alarming Allegations in Northern California

FAIRFIELD, CALIF. (CN) - Four days after the City of Dixon's assistant fire chief Ed Tubbs threatened a co-worker that he would "burn down her barn and hurt her animals," Joy Ann Williamson says, her barn burned down and her animals died in the fire. She claims other firefighters heard the threats, and the defendant Fire Department determined the fire was arson, but failed to investigate, in Solano County Court.
