WASHINGTON – Clearing the way for Alabama to execute Jeffrey Lynn Borden for the Christmas Eve 1993 shooting deaths of his estranged wife and her father, the U.S. Supreme Court vacated an 11th Circuit injunction Wednesday. Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader Ginsburg said they would have kept the injunction in place.
